David has over 30 years legal experience and has a wealth of experience in relation to New Zealand M&A corporate activity.
David specialises in M&A advice (both public and private M&A) and obtaining foreign investment approvals for overseas acquirers. David has wide experience dealing with a range of public sector bodies (e.g. Government departments, SOEs, CRI and DHBs) and has assisted a raft of clients with tender and procurement contracts.
David was a member of the New Zealand Takeovers Panel (2001-2011) and was a Wellington branch board member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors (1994-2014). David is New Zealand’s first ever person chosen for Who’s Who Legal M&A Lawyer Most Highly Regarded Individual (first recognised in 2011).
He has a Master of Laws degree from Victoria University of Wellington.
